About the owner...
MDS RECORDS MANAGEMENT is a division of Merchants Distribution Service. Merchants has been in business for over one hundred and twenty five years. It is the sixteenth oldest company in the Polk County area. MDS Records Management is managed by Eric Dickinson. Eric has worked in the records management industry for over 22 years. MDS Records Management opened its doors in 1984 to provide services to Des Moines and surrounding areas. MDS Records Management employees have over 75 years experience in the industry. MDS Records Management uses a state-of-the-art, web-based records management software - RS-SQL , to store and manage data efficiently and securely.

DETECTION: Our facility is monitored 24 hours a day to prevent unauthorized access and is equipped with the most advanced fire, smoke, and hazard warning systems.
FIRE SUPPRESSION: The MDS Records Management facility is equipped with an Early Suppression, Fast Response sprinkler system that will activate only in the area in which a problem has occurred. The climate controlled rooms are environmentally controlled, with room one protected by an Inergen fire suppression system and room two protected by a 3M Novec 1230 fire suppression system. Each of these rooms has a fire protection rating of four hours.
ACCESS: Only authorized personnel with proper identification are allowed entry into the facility. Should warehouse entry be needed by a visitor, a MDS Records Management escort will be present at all times. Visitors are required to present picture ID and to sign in/out at entry and exit. All access is checked against a prepared Authorization for Access Form. This is done to control access to your vital information.
CONFIDENTIALITY: Our employees are bonded and required to sign non-disclosure agreements and all are uniformed and trained to handle all types of media.
